So, I have started yet ANOTHER blog... Why???!!!! I hear you yelling at your computer screen. Well that is simple.

My two other blogs both serve a purpose. I LOVE creating and sharing and both provide a platform for me to do that. I am about to undertake another "journey" though. My best friend and I have decided to attempt FIFO. He will work with the same company he has worked for, for the last 7 years but he will work 3 weeks on and 1 week off. We have done a short stint of this some time ago and I LOATHED it but I think that I hated it more because my hand was forced.

I want this blog to be about being a FIFO wife. I cannot give you tips or tell you how to do things because I don't know. I am only a newbie and I am only learning myself but I do hope that for all the other FIFO wives, husbands, mummies and daddies it helps you as well. I hope that you realise that there will be ups and downs and there will be chaos and laughter and tears and happiness and appreciation. I dont want this to be a blog where I whinge or remain negative but I am realistic that there will be times that I get cranky and I share it with you. One thing that I do promise is that there will be honesty.

I am entering this new phase of my life with apprehension but at the same time I am looking forward to the prospect of being home with my family and friends.

So here I am. A mummy of three beautiful (2 sleeping and one VERY awake) children, preparing to pack up a house, drive 1700km, get on a boat and start my new life as a FIFO mummy and wife. I hope that you will join me on this new part of my life.
